Cooper, The Best Dog in The Whole World

Cooper I found you on Pet-finders back in 2004, 1 year after the death of my brother. I was sad, empty, lonely and grieving. I remember going to the Humane Society and gazing at you in your kennel and feeling the immediate connection. We bonded instantly. I brought my family to meet you and we made you ours. You brought so much joy to Zoe, at age 5, she had a dog! You were our guardian when Jim would travel for work and my friend when I was home alone. You loved kitty Simon and the 2 of you became unlikely brothers. Fast forward through years of mischief, several moves and the loss of 2 kitty friends. You were so sad so we got a puppy! You helped bring him up! You were a constant companion to all who entered our home. You were devoted to us all. Your beautiful smile and brown soulful eyes so full of compassion, your velvety soft ears and fluffy chest, you were a beautiful dog, and will be missed. Your silent presence, your energy, your love, we felt it. There is a huge hole in our hearts, but we know you are now running free from pain. We will see you in heaven someday.
